I chose "Malolo" because this fabric has flying fish -- and yes, the fish actually do fly.
When I started researching, I found another Malolo.
Launched in 1927, the Matson's SS Malolo helped launch the golden age of passenger service from the Mainland to Hawaii. She the largest and most palatial luxury cruise liner ever built in the United States at that time.
In addition to passenger liners and flying fish, this fabric features airliners, flowers, sailing canoes and scenes from the islands.
